Rob Tabor

Rob Tabor’s love of aviation stemmed from growing up on Air Force bases were military aircraft and jet noise were an ever present part of daily life. Growing up in this environment had a profound effect on him and fueled his desire to fly for a living. Rob joined the Air Force in late 1987 has been a Boom Operator for the past 20 years.
He has logged over 7500+ flying hours between the KC-135 A/R/Q and KC-10A. Rob combined his interest in photography with his love of aviation early in his flying career but it has been in the past few years that Rob has begun seriously pursuing aviation photography. In the past year Rob’s photos been published by Air International and Aeronautika magazines, he has also had his work used by Flight Safety Services Corp., Jeppesen and Shell Aviation. Several of his photographs were also included in the book “F-15 Eagle Engaged”
