Bruce Moore specializes in aviation photography working as both Photo-Pilot and Photographer. He has been flying and taking pictures of airplanes since 1967. He holds Airline Transport Pilot and Instructor Certificates for single and multi-engine airplanes, gliders and seaplanes and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Science. He has over 15,000 hours and has worked as a corporate pilot, chief pilot of a Part 141 flight school, glider flight instructor, aerobatic instructor, test pilot and is currently chief pilot of a Warbird flight school flying the North American Texan.
His work has appeared in various publications including AOPA Pilot, Flying Magazine, Experimental Aircraft Association publications and the Smithsonian Institution. In addition to aviation photography Bruce does underwater and nature photography. Since 1991 Bruce has worked with Jim Koepnick, chief photographer for EAA, as his photo pilot. Together they have photographed everything from Jennys to jets for EAA and in free-lance assignments.
