Bill Gass

My name is William Andrew Gass, but I go by Bill Gass.

I was born and raised in Medford Oregon. I attended collage to learn about Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment Welding. After graduating from Collage I joined the Heavy Equipment repair work force. After working on giant tractors and bulldozers for a few years I made the drastic change to welding sheet metal the size of your hand. After welding and fabricating sheet metal for several years I worked my way up to a Production Management position. I have now an Operations Manager.

My sister loaned me her camera many years ago and it seemed to spark a great interst in Photography. After buying my first digital SLR camera ( along with some L glass ) six years ago it seems like the possibilities are endless, challanging and lots of fun.

Along with aviation and fast cars, I like shooting people & pet portraits. I have since entered the world of HD Digital Video.

My weekends are filled with trips to the country, Crater Lake, the Great Outdoors and the Oregon Coast with my wife and kids. I enjoy hunting and hiking in the outdoors. I love going out with my wife photographing the outdoors, wildlife and Air shows. Ie have traveled to Canada, Alaska and a few of the western states. I also enjoy fishing and crabbing on the coast in the summer.
