Lance Cheung

Lance Cheung a 24-year veteran of the United States Air Force. His military career culminated in the duties as Director of Photojournalism, for the U.S. Air Force’s flagship publication, AIRMAN magazine and HQ Air Force News Agency. This combat aviation photojournalist has flown in 34 types of aircraft, with many of them “combat time” in several hostile fire zones. More importantly, his photos have told stories from babies in neonatal wards to crimes against humanity.”

Lance’s images have been internationally published in books periodicals and agencies such as Time, Newsweek, USAToday, National Geographic, Smithsonian Institution, Day in the Life, Harper Books and Getty Images to name a few.

Lance Cheung Media (LCM) is the business framework that allows his expertise to flourish in photojournalism and location feature photography. LCM is federally listed as a disabled veteran, minority owned small business based in San Antonio, Texas. His focus is on stories about the human condition, and the things people do to make life better.
