Jonathan is a freelance photographer living in the UK. I have been photographing aircraft for the last 10 years both military and civilian. I have always had an interest in aircraft ever since attending my first airshow when I was 10 years old, where I was lucky enough to see Concorde being displayed.
Aircraft are not my only subject, I also have a keen interest in anything that flies be it dragonflies, birds or bats and I spend a large part of my time photographing wildlife in the UK and overseas.
Here in the UK we are lucky to have a number of great airshows where you get the opportunity to get really close to the aircraft whilst they are put through the paces, this gives you great opportunity to experiment with different angles and types of shot.
My work has been used by a number of magazines, book covers and websites and I regularly donate a number of photos to charities for auction to raise money for their organisations.
