Concorde The Tribute
Fellow member Steve Kurtz has had three of his photos in the book Concorde The Tribute

Researched and complied by Concorde Video producer, Adrian Quine, 'Concorde the Tribute' is an un-missable addition to every Concorde fans library.
The book has 128 pages and features hundreds of colour pics from the archives of BAE System, Airbus, Air France, BA and many personal collectors.
The forward was written by Capt. Leslie Scott, who holds the record time for the Supersonic passenger crossing of the Atlantic Ocean in Concorde.
Steve shares some reflections on the Concorde and 'The Spirit of Delta'.
Spending a week taking photos of the Concorde was the opportunity of a lifetime. The Londoners were out in force, with 500 to 1,000 people in the fields surrounding the airport during Concorde arrivals. For the final day, there were tens of thousands at Heathrow to watch three Concordes land consecutively. One thing I'll never forget was the loudness of a Concorde takeoff. Cars across the street would have their car alarms go off due to the noise and vibration of a Concorde departure.

'The Spirit of Delta'
Having the chance to catch two of the farewell tours for 'The Spirit of Delta' allowed me to interact with a number of Delta employees. The long-time employees really have a strong affection for that aircraft, and many came from around the US to take employee-only flights in Atlanta in early March 2006. That too was an exciting opportunity.
