George Hall LIfetime Acheivement Award Recipient Announced

The board of directors has voted to change the name of the Award of Excellence to honor the late George Hall. Nicky Hall, George's wife, is going to make the first presentation this year at Pensacola to the recepient, Bill Williams.

Bill Williams, retired chief of photography for Convair/General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin Ft. Worth) is to be the 2007 recipient. Bill started photographing Convair products during the early days of the B-36 program and continued through the YB-60, the B-58, the RB-57F, F-111, and F-16 programs. His work has graced the covers of many of the world's most prominent aviation magazines and has appeared in hundreds of books.
