An aerospace career has provided Hayman many chances to photograph subjects ranging from Space Shuttles and giant Antonov transports to helicopters at the Hiller Aviation Museum. Volunteering at the museum affords numerous photo opportunities, especially during the annual helicopter airshow. Though he prefers to photograph military aircraft, Hayman has been diversifying his topics as his style continues to develop.
Making the hardware transition to DLSR has helped Hayman improve the quality of his images, resulting in articles and photographs appearing in Pacific Flyer, InFlight USA, and Smithsonian Air & Space. Experiencing his first ISAP symposium has only fueled the fire even more, and Hayman hopes to engineer an eventual transition of this hobby into a new career.
