| In 1976, aviation beckoned and Peter gained commercial flight qualifications. Always with a camera in his hand, Peter has been able to combine his love of flying and aeroplanes with photography in recent years. His work has been published in Aero Australia magazine and in the 2007 Avalon International Air Show programme. Peter’s front cover shot of an RAAF Boeing F/A18A Hornet of the Avalon Pictorial Review accompanied his image of Australia’s Supermarine Spitfire duet on the front cover of Aero in 2006.
Several air-to-air photographic sorties out of Tyabb in Victoria in 2006 provided material for Peter’s article on aviation imagery in Australian Photography magazine. Peter is indebted to fellow member, Paul Bowen, for his generous advice on this project.
