Our Member - Frans Dely

	Frans Dely has been a photographer since the seventies and over the years has worked in almost every category in the commercial photography. These areas include annual reports, fashion, press, industrial, motorsport, studio – pack shots to advertising, and since 1995, exclusively with digital. Dely was the first exclusively digital photographer in South Afraica with the first one shot 6 million pixel camera produced by Kodak.
Specialising in air to air photography and utilising an extensive contact base, a variety of aircraft are available worldwide for any requirement. These include from helicopters to the Harvard T6 and L39 Russian fighter trainer jet. With a safety first approach and with seven years of shoot experience, photo shoots are well planned and only pilots with the correct experience level are utilised. Dely has flown numerous sorties for renowned organizations like Gripen International, Pilatus, Airbus, Bombardier, Breitling Jet Team, Agusta, numerous airlines and the military. With a strong association with the South African Air Force, Dely has recently produced the first since 1995 coffee table edition book on the SAAF. ‘Soaring With Eagles’ is a visual celebration as it is today. Together with Hayley Horan, produces the annual of Airshow South Africa book which is in its third year of production. The most recent title photographed and produced by Dely is on the Al Ain Aerobatic Show which is due for release in March 2007.
