Our Member - Ricardo Beccari

	Ricardo Beccari is a commercial photographer based in São Paulo, Brazil. He has been shooting aerial photography since 1982. Both his father and brother are licensed commercial pilots, a fact which has fostered his intense relationship with flight. He himself is a private pilot. His various aerial activities make for both a busy and demanding shooting schedule. Ricardo is the head photographer for “Aero Magazine”, Brazil’s most prestigious and leading flight magazine.
He his head photographer for Brazil’s legendary Air Force Demonstration Squadron, known all over the world as the “Esquadrilha da Fumaça” flying the famed Embraer T-27 Tucano. (In October 2006, the squadron set a new world record for inverted flight, flying a (12 airplanes formation for 30 seconds). His work with the squadron earned him the title of “Honorary Squadron Member”. His clients include Embraer Company, Cirrus Brasil, Aero Magazine, Brazilian Air Force. He covers the main international fairs such as FIDAE in Chile and the EAA in Oshkosh. Although, Ricardo shoots air-to-air from various airplane platforms, usually in tight formation for his best shoots, such as the Sky Van, Hercules, Cessna Sky Lane, Maule, PA 18 and Seneca, he also shoots from the “ground” which in his opinion demands greater feel and ability from the photographer. The very first camera he used was a Canon F1, suggested by his photography mentor, Evelton Rosário (IM) and he has been faithful to the brand ever since. These days he uses a digital format Canon 5D with the Line L lenses.
