Jeffrey Hargis

Jeff Hargis is a New Orleans/Southeast Louisiana area photographer. Ever since my first air show as a toddler, I have dreamt of flying. Growing up less than a mile away from the approach to New Orleans International airport (MSY) only reinforced my interest in flight. Even today, my world stops for planes. Ask my wife. Most of my images are captured at local air shows and airports. It’s only been within the past year or two that I have made an effort to seriously combine my love of aviation with my passion for photography. Now that I live near a regional airport (KHUM) with a fairly robust amount of general aviation traffic I am able to shoot nearly anytime I wish.
